Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua today decamped from Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance to Deputy President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

Dr Mutua announced that he alongside Maendeleo Chap Chap Party have effectively moved to Kenya Kwanza coalition, to support William Ruto for President.

Mutua has attributed his defection to the zoning policy and lack of honesty in the Azimio coalition. “Azimio La Umoja has become a club of a few, shrouded in secrecy, violating our agreement” said the Maendeleo Chap Chap party boss.

Welcoming Governor Mutua to Kenya Kwanza, Deputy President William Ruto said, “the people of Kenya have rejected blackmail, deceit and conmanship in our politics.Those who’ve taken our country hostage using patronage,force and impunity watajua hawajui na Wakenya hawapangwingwi.Karibu Gov Alfred Mutua & MCC party to Kenyan Kwanza family, the Hustler Nation.”

Mutua announced that five other parties are planning to leave Azimio due to their dishonesty and zoning adding “We are convinced that the best team to transform Kenya is Kenya Kwanza and the leader to transform Kenya is William Ruto.”
