The former Changamwe legislator who represented the constituency for fifteen years Ramadhan Seif Kajembe is dead.
Kajembe who was first elected in 1997 had been ailing for sometime before he passed on at Pandya hospital. The cause of his death was not clear though at the time of his death announcement.
He was a member of the Orange Democratic Movement (Odm) party until he died. Kajembe also served as assistant minister for environment.
His death comes barely two weeks after his wife succumbed to Covid19 virus.
The ex – Changamwe member of parliament will be burried today at 7Pm at Kajembe family cemetery in Changamwe, the same place his wife was burried.
