Former Vice President and Wiper leader Steven Kalonzo Musyoka on Monday morning took a swipe at Deputy president William Samoei Ruto, raising a number of corruption allegations that have been levelled against him.
Mr. Musyoka was responding to Ruto’s recent sentiments attributed to Ruto claiming that the only meaningful record he Kalonzo had in his entire life was living in a grabbed government land.
Kalonzo raised a number of allegations amongst them the Lang’ata primary school playground where innocent children were mercilessly teargassed, the grabbing of the public land belonging to the Kenya Airports Authority and the grabbing of more than 100 acres of the late Muteshi who had to fight for more than 10 years to get justice.
He challenged Ruto to inform Kenyans about his role in the Harambee annex office scandal that saw a foreign businessman lose over 300 million Kenya shillings.
The former Vice president in the Kibaki administration further urged the deputy president to come clean on the collapsed Arror and Kimwarer dam projects amongst many other issues and subject himself to a transparent lifestyle audit, urging him to cease being hypocritical and take responsibility for his misdeeds which “stink to the high heavens.”
