Rarieda member of parliament hon. Otiende Amollo has been conferred the rank of a Senior Counsel.
A total of 24 advocates of the high court were issued with letters on Monday confirming their elevation to the ranks of Senior Counsels.They include Kalonzo Musyoka, Martha Karua, Kioko Kilokumi, Phillip Murgor, Wilfred Nderitu, Dorkas Agik amongst others.
Today’s conferment comes eight years after the last one was conducted in 2012.President Uhuru Kenyatta sent messages of congratulations to the 24 new senior counsels.He said that the actual date for the conferment will be communicated soon.
The Republic of Kenya now has a total of 48 Senior Counsels following the elevation of the new advocates
