Meet Lindah Kiyeng, one of the most Influential young women PR & Media

1). Who is Lindah Kiyeng?

I am a businesswoman, a PR enthusiast and a journalist at heart.

2). What prompted you to start your business?

I always wanted to do what I love and also to be my own boss and so I opted to start my own business and I’ve never looked back since.

3). Who is your inspiration?

I have to say it’s my daughter Leilani Bett. Every time I want to give up, I remember I have to go hard for her.

4). What are some of the challenges you faced when you started your business?

Finding who I was and what I was good at was a bit of a challenge because I wanted to do so many things. However, after finding and understanding myself, I immediately knew the path I wanted to pursue.

5). When did you realize that PR is the path you want to pursue?

After I realized I could be my own boss doing what I was passionate about.

6). How have you managed to stay relevant and still inspire after all these years?

I always think of new ways of being creative. If it is something you love you can do it in so many different ways.

7). I know you are looking forward to expand your business. Where are you planning to open your next office?

America and the UK.

8). What can you say is the virtue that has helped you the most in business?

Patience and persistence. You have to understand your customers’ needs and that takes patience. You should also have persistence and posses “a never give up attitude.”

9). What message do you have for those who wish to do PR as a career?

Follow your dreams and make sure it is something you love.
