Leaked video shows Finland Prime Minister Marin partying “hard”

36 year old Finland’s Prime Minister Sanna Marin has taken a drug test after a leaked video of her and her friends partying hard caused controversy. “I have taken a drug test for my own legal protection, the results of which will come in about a week. ”

In the video, posted on social media, PM Marin and her friends, including Finnish celebrities, are seen dancing and singing.

Finland opposition politician Riikka Pura challenged the prime minister to take a drug test saying there was a “shadow of doubt” hanging over her according to a report by the BBC.

The Prime Minister denied taking drugs, and said that she only drank alcohol and simply partied “in a boisterous way”.

The PM says she was aware she was being filmed but was upset that the video was leaked. “I danced, sang, and partied – perfectly legal things. And I’ve never been in a situation where I’ve seen or known of others [using drugs],” she added.
