Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati and his South Mugirango counterpart Silvanus Osoro who were engaged in an ugly scuffle at the burial of Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi ‘s father on February 1 today reconciled and shook hands at another burial.
The two Mps shook hands during the burial service of Bonchari MP Oroo Oyioka at Itierio High school, on 26th February 2021.
Hon. Arati welcomed Osoro to the podium where he aplogosed for the February 1st incident and said the South Mugirango MP was his younger brother in terms of age and in Parliament.
“Apart from the small disagreements witnessed during the last burial, you have seen today that Osoro is my younger brother in terms of age as well as in the National Assembly,” said the Dagoretti North MP.
The incident (in picture below) was widely condemned with leaders saying the two MPs were insensitive to grieving family.
