A huge fire this morning burnt down several buildings in Kisumu Boys High School in the county of Kisumu on 20th August 2022.
According to Nyanza Daily reporters in Kisumu, the fire broke out minutes past 9 am burning down several classrooms and a dormitory.
The students were evacuated to a safer area as firefighters and local police made efforts to contain the fire.
Students were asked to remove their personal belongings from other dormitories as a precaution to avoid possible spread of the fire to other buildings. According to Kisumu Central Sub-county Police Commandant Jactone Mango, they have launched investigations on the incident and would release a preliminary report as soon as possible.
