Tanzanian musician Harmonize arrested and later released in Nairobi

Tanzanian musician Rajab Abdul Kahali popularly known as Harmonize, was briefly arrested in Nairobi for allegedly obtaining money by false pretence. The singer was held at the Kileleshwa police station but later released after entering agreements with the complainants.

Sources privy to the matter say the Tanzanian music star was arrested in connection to a simmering scandal of allegedly failing to appear at several clubs in Nairobi despite having received money for the same.

Born in Mwanza Tanzania, Harmonize sometimes referred to as Konde is a top Bongo Flava artist and music entrepreneur born in Mwanza Region. The singer who has more than 2.7 million subscribers on YouTube is known locally for hits such as Happy Birthday, Mwaka Wangu, Mdomo and many others.
