KANU’s Tatyana Mumbi cleared for Kilimani MCA race

She has pledged not to put up posters to Conserve the Environment

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has cleared Hon. Tatyana Mumbi of KANU to run for Member of County Assembly for Kilimani ward in Nairobi. The independent KANU party announced, “Our very own Hon. Tityana Mumbi Kiruthi has been officially cleared by IEBC to vie for Kilimani Ward MCA seat. Inawezekana #FormNiDifferent.”

Tatyana who is a sports and environment enthusiast is one of the young leaders who joined the World Environment Day tree planting activities organized by the Global Peace Foundation at the Starehe Girls Center. Because of her environmental consciousness, she is the only politician who will not put up posters because they deface our community, litter our grounds and clog our drains.

Her manifesto includes pushing for TUIMARIKE opportunities which includes job creation for the ‘Mama wa mawe’ and ‘Boyz wa mtaa tu’. The Clean Crew program she hopes to launch will cater for the entire ward.
