Raila Odinga’s Super Tuesday prediction came to pass on 23rd February 2021 as members of 37 county legislators voted in favour of the Constitution of Kenya Amendment Bill 2020.
The numbers have effectively surpassed the minimum threshold of 24 counties required to push the bill to the referendum via parliament which is just a formality because they have no role major role. This means that whether parliament passes or rejects the Bill, it will still proceed to the referendum.
