“Punish senators in parliament ” says City Lawyer Faith Lukosi

City Lawyer Faith Lukosi has called on the Senate to punish two Senators who were engaged in a feast fight in parliament during the election of the Senate Health Committee. The Senators Beatrice Kwamboka and Mary Seneta differed over the election of Narok senator Ledama Ole Kina as deputy chairperson of the committee.

Nyanza Daily had posed a question whether the two should be punished and this is what Lawyer Faith Lukosi  had to say “Senate Standing Order No. 117 empowers the Speaker to suspend a senator who commits an act of gross disorderly conduct. The act of goonship exhibited by the two nominated senators is uncouth and should not be entertained by the Lusaka led senate.

The Lawyer  who is also the Nairobi Youth Senator says that the two Senators ought to conduct themselves with decorum all the time, in and out of the house since there are many young people out there who look up to the two leaders as role models.
