The Finnet Institute has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS), to promote good governance practices through consulting and training programmes in the pension sector.

This partnership will amplify the critical role of governance in invigorating the pension sector in Kenya,” says FCS Jeremiah N. Karanja, the Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS).

To kick start this collaboration, the two organisations will hold a four-day inaugural Pension Sector Governance Conference from 27th -30th September 2022 at the Whitesands Hotel in Mombasa. The conference will provide advanced knowledge and governance tools to pension sector stakeholders which will bolster their effectiveness in oversight and administration.
