Uhuru urges President Samia to emulate Magufuli’s “Hapa Kazi Tu”

Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta this afternoon defied all odds to attend the funeral service for departed Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli saying “Liwe Liwalo” he had to attend the ceremony in person. Kenyatta used the occasion to encourage the new Tanzanian President Suluhu Hassan not to deflect from Magufuli’s work policy.

“Kwa Dada yangu Rais Samia Suluhu, barabara umeonyeshwa Hapa ni Kazi tu. Uendelee kutekeleza zile kazi zimeanzwa na Rais Magufuli” said Kenyatta.

The President who is also the current Chairman of the East Africa Community said that Magufuli demonstrated that in a very short time, it is possible to liberate Africans from economic /donor dependence. “Kwa miaka michache Rais Magufuli ameonyesha ya kwamba Waafrika wanaweza kujitoa katika kutegemea nchi za nche na kuinua wananchi wetu bila msaada! Said Kenyatta in Dodoma.

Kenyatta halted his speech for almost 3 minutes when he heard prayers DHUUHR ADHAAN prayers from a nearby Mosque showing his benevolence for religion. This gesture plus his superb speech delivered in Swahili earned him praises online.
