Valentina Shevchenko beats Santos to retain UFC275 title

UFC women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko continues her reign after her toughest challenge to date from Brazilian Taila Santos at the ongoing mixed martial arts dubbed Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC275) ongoing at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang. This is Valentina’s seventh title win so far.

Valentina won by judges split decision of 49-46 after a five round march that left the fans divided on who actually won the match especially after the 4th ranked underdog Santos appeared to dominate the first three rounds of the fight.

The final bell rang out, with many undecided on how the scores would go until Bruce Buffer read out the three cards.

 The UFC 275 is the first ever pay-per-view hosted by the UFC in Singapore and has the following fixtures for UFC fans;
